In 1860 great visionaries Waman Prabhakar Bhave, Vasudev Balwant Phadke and Laxman Narhar Indapurkar came together and established Maharashtra Education Society. Over the last 160 years MES has over 75 institutions with a strength around 40,000 students. MES has expanded to Saswad, Baramati, Panvel, Belapur, Kalamboli, Shirwal, Kasar Amboli, Ahmednagar, Solapur and Chiplun in Konkan. A mighty Dnyan Wruksha is standing and proving education which is sprouted from a small seed.
